(Hants Aero Club) Bellamy-Hilbourne BH.1 Halcyon. Prototype G-ARIO damaged beyond repair taxi-ing, unflown, Eastleigh,17/2/62.
 
From good old Putnam's British Civil Aircraft 1919-1972:Vol1

"Bellamy Hillborne B.H.1 Halcyon - All-wood four-seater with retractable nosewheel undercarriage, powered by two 105 h.p Walter Minor engines. Designed by R.J.Hillborne and built at Eastleigh by the Hampshire Aero Club under the direction of V.H.Bellamy 1960-61. One aircraft only: G-ARIO. C/n HAC.5. registered to V.H.Bellamy 1.1961.construction well advanced by 5.1961 and engines run 9.1961,but the project was abandoned when the aircraft was damaged during taxyng trials 2.1962.
Span 30 ft 5 in. Length 23 ft 7 in. A.U.W 1,800 lb. Cruise 150 m.p.h. Range 300 miles."
