In the very good "Avions Dornier" by Pierre Gaillard I read :
"The prototype Do Y was modified for civil task and tested by Swizerland with the Do U designation . ( registration HB-GOF )"
www.histaviation.com lists both HB-GOF and HB-GOE as Dornier Do Y. Interestingly they both ended up with IAM K-9 radial engines fitted with octagonal cowlings as per pic attached whilst in service in Yugoslavia.
