The museum comment states:

3rd Rate Turret Ship ‘Dauntless’ 1866​


Scale: 1:48. A contemporary half hull model of the third-rate turret ship HMS ‘Dauntless’ (1866). It is complete with its original decorated wooden base and is rigged with stump tripod masts and bowsprit. This model illustrates one of a series of eight men-of-war as proposed by Vice-Admiral E. P. Halsted, which carried guns, and turrets as designed by Captain Cowper Coles.

Measuring 422 feet in length by 65 feet in the beam and a tonnage of 12,100 (builder’s old measurement), the ‘Dauntless’ was to have five turrets fitted with ten 9-inch guns, whereas the second-rate ‘Powerful’ had six.

But it is actually a model of the 6-turret Powerful, as evident by the writing on the head scroll:

Is there any other available info about Dauntless and her sisters? Maybe a couple of blueprints?

I have a copy somewhere (in a box in the loft) of a modern reprint of Munitions Of War, a report to the US Govt on the weapons displayed at the Paris Exposition of 1867. There are a couple of pages detailing the eight models of Halsted's proposed ironclads. It is, unfortunately, currently inaccessible. However, there is a scanned copy at the Internet Archive. Go to page 272:
