Thanks GTX, I did not think that they would produce model kits that fast considering that it is brand new design, especially trying to reproduce the rear cockpit.

Unlikely ... the LD-10 is based on the SD-10 aka PL-12 a missile that does not fit the weapons bay.

An option could be a PL-15 based development of as on display at Zhuhai this one:

It will be truly impressive if it achieve supercruise >1.6 Mach with ws-15.Is the aerodynamics suited for such feat?

Interesting find TSARb, the final 601/611 design does look a lot like the finished J-20 just a few design tweaks and there you have it.
 
The canards moved farther from the wing to provide sufficient pitching moment at low speed. Due to the lack of thrust-vectoring I suppose.
 
Interesting TSARb, I did not realise that the canards were moved forward to provide suficient thrust at low speed.

Why do you think that static thrust levels have anything to do with supercruise capability? Having high specific impulse (high exhaust velocity at Mil power) and maintaining it at supercruise inlet conditions (100+ F) is necessary to achieve significant supercruise performance.

0, only the prototypes used it. LRIP units switched to a existing WS-10 variant and production units has a specially designed WS-10 variant for J-20. Word from credible PLA watchers is that all new production J-20s built in 2025 are now As which means they get a redesigned airframe and WS-15.

Remember that the J58s on the Blackbird at Mach 3+ cruise speed were said to make no net thrust and were just drag on the engine mounts, while the inlet and afterburner made all the thrust.

The engines weren't able to accelerate any mass through them at those temperatures, while the inlet and afterburner were.

That's prototype 2057, sources say all J-20 produced this year were J-20As and also quite a bit more of J-20As in primer were spotted last month which presumably are serial aircrafts
