The Boeing-Vertol had a project of G.E.T.O.L (ground effect take off and

Ok my dears,

For the Boeing-Vertol G.E.T.O.L;

Although Convair's GETOL design (the PD-104) is better known, the Vertol project (designation unknown) is seldom seen.

The patent for it was presented before in this topic. Here is a little text with an artist's view and a few details.

Please note that this project by Boeing Vertol is not to be mistaken for another Boeing-labelled GETOL project of 1962:

McDonnell also offered a series of GETOL proposals under company designations Model 165A to 165G.
Has anyone seen a McDonnell GETOL project before?

Boeing Vertol studied several GETOL configurations and finally settled on the Boeing-Vertol Model 129 (i.e. BV-129), "a twin fan hollow wing Ground Effect Take-Off and Landing (GETOL) Flight Research Vehicle powered by one Lycoming YT55-L-5 engine."

Below is a composite plan I recreated using the poorly scanned documents in the report as a basis.
