I thought we had directly mentioned the weavers elsewhere but apparently not:

Apollo Design Concepts From 1961 - Original Drawings Revealed

Thanks to Ben for sharing these drawings he found in his Grandfather's files. These are drawings from the original proposal by North American Aviation for the Apollo Command Module. These were made in September 1961 before the Apollo program had decided to use Lunar Orbit Rendezvous to reduce mass requirements. As such the designs are built around landing the command module on the moon using a big lander.

Ben has shared the high resolution scans of the designs at https://apollopreliminarydrawings.com/

This is ALL of the Apollo 11 mission communications in real time. From before launch through splashdown. I have been listening non-stop since T- 5 minutes. It is very insightful on the behind the scenes efforts to make the mission go. HIGHLY recommend it.

An interview with the person behind what's been dubbed the greatest tech service call of all time and the person responsible for the survival of much AGC software including 'Zerlina' whose development was sadly cut short by the end of the Apollo program

I have spent the last three days listening to the real time recordings of all the Apollo 11 communications. It has been truly amazing to me how challenging it was, with continuous loss of communications enroute and at the moon. Listening to the astronauts as an older fellow lets me appreciate their professionalism and just what a gamble it was. Listening to the ground team with their tireless efforts to overcome navigation and communications problems.

Utterly incredible.
