Are you sure : I have never seen any photo or three views of the L.70 before ...

I have also no clear information: built or project. The powerplant was a Napier "Lion". I have this pic in my collection since a long time, so I can´t say the source. Sorry.

Great find Dhc2pilot,

Hi,

the Albatros K 351B was developed from K 351,but powered by one Benz Bz III engine,
also the K 361 was a recce seaplane powered by one Benz Bz III engine.

Hi,

here is two little known Albatros aircraft, the W.6 was single seat seaplane aircraft powered
by one Mercedes D IVa engine, the W.7 was also single seat seaplane, but the engine is not
known, and may be they were a projects.

What Lange has to say about the W 6 and W 7 (p. 45 of his Typenhandbuch):

W 6: single seat marine fighter with Daimler D IVa. Improved W 4. Certainly an experimental prototype ("V-Muster") was built.

W 7: single seat marine fighter similar to W 6. A single prototype.

Sorry for my translations, but since Dutch is my mother tongue I have to translate from one foreign language (German) to another (English)...

Amazing and good translate, thank you Tuizentfloot.

From Jack Herris "German Seaplane Fighters of WW I", the Albatros W8, a two-seat
fighter, two prototypes built only.

The Albatros L 9 or ME biplane was indeed designed by Hermann Dorner as a single seat fighter (Militär-Einsitzer) for Albatros. All airplanes of his former Dorner Flugzeug GmbH were monoplanes, as I said in an earlier posting.

Hi,

Albatros designed a twin engined bomber Project,no available Info had been remained ?.

Oh, I see, it is the 1920s-30s era, and sorry, but that is not really my cup of tea. Over to someone more competent...

The eternal confusion between factory designations and IdFlieg designations… And the use af Arabic and Roman numerals mixed together for factory designations complicate the matter... For this reason I always use Arabic numerals for factory designations.

F1: The first Albatros biplane. A 1910 Farman copy.

F I (factory designation: L54): 1918 experimental two-seater long range reconnaissance plane with BuS IVa, 300 hp. One of those new IdFlieg classes from the end of the war.
