One of the limitations of the UK's small carriers was/is a lack of an airborne early warning aircraft such as an E-2 Hawkeye. Indeed, this was apparently one of the deficiencies of the UKs air strategy during the Falklands - although Nimrods did fly from Ascension.

Dornier Do-24S is new project,it is twin engined amphibian
flying boat with new shape and has a wings partially folded
and powered by two 450 hp P&W Canada PT6A turboprops
it can carry 33-45 passenger.

This picture was shown on more than one site in the net,
but IIRC in the FlugRevue, it was said, that it's a Sukhoi project ... ???
seems to have been a number of german short range SAM programmes in the late 1990's
Perhaps for our german memebrs - BGT version of HFK/KV a two stage missile, with boster and coast to target second stage at mach-3 to a range of 12km. Photo below (JSWS-issue 30)

Hi folks,
Apparently, back in 1972, the RN Submarine HMS Aeneas tested the Submarine-Launched Air Missile (SLAM) system consisting of 6 Blowpipe SAMs in a retractable mount in the conning tower. Israel may have used the system.

Boeing 7N7 was twin jet engined medium range transport airliner,Boeing
7X7 was larger project as three turbofans engines...
During WW II the idea of the transport glider was "en vogue", so several countries
developed and built such types.
One of them was Sweden. The AB Flygindustri of Halmstad designed a glider with the
designation Fi 3 of wooden construction, intended for 11 troops plus pilot.
Much better known...
