Can anyone I.D. this wind tunnel model ?

My friend on the East Coast found this, I believe it's a wind tunnel model. Heavy steel weighs around 35 lbs, Two feet long, what looks like welds is actually a stiff putty. Compound delta wing and a crudely attached twin canted vertical stabilizers. Any ideas ? Thanks !

It shares several elements in common with the N-343 Agile Fighter, despite differences. Possibly an early iteration?

I believe that "arrow wing" planform was developed by NASA and promised good L/D at >mach 1, meaning supercruise was a possibility.

"Arrow wing" concept looks very close to the model. I noted, that wing outer panels connected with the cylindrical part of fuselage, as well as other parts, like empennage, top fairing etc. Perhaps, such "set" of interchangeble details offer to easily study various configurations and areas of surfaces, and various their mutual positions. Without the need to produce new model for each of new configuration. Imho, the represented steel model "lost" the forward canards somewhere during their life...

Thank you, I've been going blind looking at AGILE & ATF prototypes & the most similar had the forward canards. think you're correct the pieces most likely went missing.

Its a very generic shape, with no apparent engines represented. So I don't think you can map it to a specific program. It might just be testing the wings and tail for example with a generic fuselage representation.
