In the 70's North American Downey had an Open House to show off progress on the Space Shuttle. I did not work there but went anyway and the most fascinating display was the quarter scale model of the complete stack that was used to do vibration testing. It is the biggest, most impressive and beautifully made model I have ever seen. I had seen no reference to it until Paul scanned the NAA retiree newsletters and Stan Barauska's piece on it appeared in the Summer 2009 edition, located in the "Found on the Internet" section. It was too beautiful to scrap and aparently was displayed in Canada for a while. Does anyone know where it is now?

Oddly, it's only taking 1 min 4 sec to download now. It's almost as if download speeds have increased somewhat in the past ten years.
