I'll start this thread in an attempt to find answers to question as "Is this aircraft real ?" easier.
If you find a type, that has been proved to be a fake, please post it here with a subject telling
the asserted manufacturer and type. In the post please give the source you found it, feel free
to attach a picture, as sometimes the designation alone may not be that clear.

Bill Gunston's Lockheed ATF is not correct.

From the original source: Osprey Combat Aircraft Series 13. Stealth Warplanes. 1988 page 26

Lockheed CSRIS aircraft, which the author suggest could be designated by USAF as the AR-19A, or even the RS-19A

So which the author attempted to describe was the Lockheed F-117.

Remember, there was a genuine canard Hornet derivative, part of the Hornet 2000 programme...

cheers,
Robin.

Folks, thanks for your participation, I'm completing the list.
Please, could you do me a favour ?

- Mention the country of origin in your post.

- Please think twice, if it really is proved to be a fake and if so, was it ever taken for
serious in any publication or website ?

Thanks

What makes this one particularly bad is that there was a genuine He 162S variant; from 'Warplanes of the Third Reich' :-

"...the He 162 V16 and V17...were respectively the first and second prototypes for the He 162S training glider. With the engine removed and asecond cockpit...the He 162S had an enlarged wing and vertical tail surfaces. The undercarriage was fixed in the down position..."

cheers,
Robin.

note added to the He 162 entry

We had the "Heinkel T" here http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1093.15.html,
but without a final conclusion.
About the "T-Rakete", are there any pictures, ust to make clear, what the notice in the list stands for ?
With regards to the "Schriever Flying Saucer" and other stuff of that kind, I don't know, if we shall
include it here, as we probably would end up with "Haunebu Flugscheiben" and similar BS.
Opinions ?

Have added Green Meat and Fireguard to the list. Do we know, which was the stated manufacturer of
Green Meat ?

Looks like what Kenneth Arnold saw near Mt Rainier, crescent shaped "ufo's". Maybe was an earlier German design?
