To inspire and amaze :)
Hello,
Here is a drawing from the Albatros I started to draw it when i was young with rotring and ink. I tried to it with a computer many years later but it's not yet finished. I intend to the full 3 view plan in color and also make some additional profiles (1 from DLR, 1 from NASA, maybe a full black, any suggestions are welcome!)
Regards
Alain

I suspect origin of Kugisho Shi-16 is manga of " Konpeki no Kantai " : i have seen first 16 episodes subtitled in english and i had found the manga and there was an aircraft that reminded me this aircraft .

Focke-Wulf Fw 198

FW 198 was based on an inaccurate American understanding of the De Schelde S.21 fighter mockup built in Holland just before WW2. It is illustrated on page 54 of Justo Miranda's book "Enemy At The Gates, Panic Fighters of the Second World War."

Production Focke-Wulf 189 had a crew gondola similar to the asymmetric Blohm & Voss 141, but two Argus engines mounted on the front of tail booms. Real FW 189 also had a tail wheel under the center of the horizontal stabilizer.

Fritch Fiction Bomber

Source: FineScale Modeler, Reader Gallery, January 1997, pp-46-47

1 Fritch fiction

"This is a 1/72 scale model of a fictitious Luftwaffe twin-jet high-speed tactical bomber," Scott Edwards reports. "It is armed with two 20mm guns in a dorsal turret." He [modeller Scott Edwards] kit-bashed the model from an old Revell 1/50 scale Yak-25 and a 1/72 scale Airmodel Ju 388 vacuform-formed [sic] conversion kit.

So, not an intentional 'fake', just an announced what-if fantasy ;)

It was a New Year's Eve joke (the article was published in the last L+K issue of 1997). The last paragraph of the article says that for now that is a joke, but who knows sometime a real thing will come from the joke. Note also the drawing in which the aircraft flies out from a glass of champagne.
