2025 year. Novel wing configuration for ground-effect craft "provisional design" of Zurislav, allowing namely 1) separation of wing module from payload hull assembly 2) direct hull replacement from the frontal arc 3) acoustically decoupled passenger compartment from propulsion unit 4) self beaching and docking ability using caterpillar track units instead of the destructive propulsor units 5) reduced strain on wings when landing (the central hull is dropped like a rescue boat from aircraft at speeds around 70 knots, while the wings under remote control from hull bleed speed to lose weight into 5000 kg, allowing wing loading of 35kg per square meter and a landing speed of 30 knots, reducing the energy of the impact taken by the vulnerable wing units. Public disclosure for the advancement of the art of Ground Effect navigation.
Technical characteristics of craft:
Mass takeoff: 5+11 tonnes
Wing area: bow units 50 sq m, stern unit 100 sq m
Stabilizer area: stern unit 25 sq m, tail units 5 sq m
Installed power:
Flight: 2x gas turbine "common", 1000 brake horsepower each. Located on wing unit outriggers just fore of center mass. Transmission: mechanical.
Beaching/Docking: unsprung caterpillar track, sprocket diameter 55cm. Electrically driven by APU.
Hull: 2x independently steered water jet thruster, with reversers. Electrically driven by APU
Auxiliary power unit: 2x marine diesel engine "common", 50 brake horsepower each. Located on stern of hull. Driving generators.
