"Object 287" had the same construction of power plant, transmission and running gear as the "Object 432".

It is interesting on re-read that it says it is based on the 430, but shares the same chassis as the 432. Is the T-64 based on the "Object 430", as well?

Object 430 was the first prototype precursor of the T-64, with generally minimal advantages over the T-54. It was extensively revised as Object 432 (T-64, 115mm gun) and then Object 434 (T-64A, 125mm gun)
