I recently found this four engine, twin hulled, twin boom flying boat model at a local antique store, located in the Los Angeles area. The model is extremely well made and is entirely made of wood and has retractable metal sponsons in the forward hulls. I am guessing that the model dates back to 1930's - 1940's. The fuselage length is 20 inches, with a wingspan of 30 inches. Any help with identifying this unique model would be greatly appreciated.

Fuselages remind me of a Boeing Clipper flying boat from the 1930s.
Several companies proposed giant, twin-hulled flying boats, but all suffered stability problems in the tow tank.
