Split to new topic.

Hi,

in Flightglobal of 1990,they displayed a tri-jet Tu-204 and eight-engined heavy lifter,I check all my sources,I didn't find any version of Tu-204 with three-engined nor a heavy lifter with eight-engined,I can't ID them.

This mockup draft design early Tu-204 (3-D-90) year period 1981-1982. (According to V. Rigmant)

Actually, the Rolls Royce powered variant, which was also available with western avionics, was sold to Cairo Aviation in Egypt, which obtained 3 204-120s, and 2 204-120Cs. As usual, there was no interest in the aircraft outside of the Soviet sphere of influence. I can't seem to reach the Cairo Aviation webpage if it has one, though.

Much appreciated. But you see how much interest the West showed in this aircraft, despite prices that did undercut similar Western types, such as the 757 and the A321.
