From the site of my dear Stingray,

the Samal was an indian helicopter,

Homebuilt light helicopter built by garage mechanic Abhmanyu Samal of Odisha, India. The aircraft took two years and 40,000 rupees to build. It is constructed mainly of scrap tin and various piping, with an engine from a scooter. It has a fuel tank of 5 liters and will reportedly fly 120 km/h.
