Hi all,
Here is a list of reference books about aircraft produced in Latin America. These books are in Spanish, Portuguese or English unless mentioned. Additions and comments are welcome.

General books on Latin American aircraft

  • Aviation in Latin America Conquistadors of the Sky – A History of Aviation in Latin America, by Dan Hagedorn, University Press of Florida / Smithsonian NASM, 2008, ISBN 0813032490

Probably mentions domestic aircraft production, at least in passing.
  • Aircraft made in Latin America since 1945 Die Flugzeuge von Embraer und anderer lateinamerikanischer Flugzeugbauer ab 1945, German language, by Marc Volland, Books on Demand, 2011, ISBN 3842300042

  • Aircraft made in Argentina Historia de la industria aeronáutica argentina, by Francisco Halbritter, Biblioteca Nacional de Aeronáutica, two volumes:
    • Volume 1, military aircraft, 2004, ISBN 9872077444
    • Volume 2, civilian aircraft, 2006, ISBN 9872077460
Said to have exhaustive coverage, presented in this page: http://www.aracuan.com.ar/libro.htm
  • Aircraft made in Argentina, 1945-1960 Las Alas De Perón II – La Aeronáutica Argentina 1945-1960, by Ricardo Burzaco, Eugenio B, 2007
Review here, contains many unbuilt projects:
The author has a website with additional documents not reproduced in the book:
There was an earlier edition titled Las Alas De Perón – Aeronáutica Argentina 1945/1960, Da Vinci, 1995, ISBN 9879676440.
  • FMA (Fábrica Militar de Aviones) Fábrica Militar de Aviones: Crónicas y testimonios, edited by Sergio Mansur, Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, 2008
Originally published as a book in 2007 by Agencia Córdoba Ciencia, the 2008 second edition used to be readable online, but has been removed from the Ministry's website. A pdf archive is still available at http://cyt-ar.com.ar/cyt-ar/index.php/Archivo:FMA.pdf
  • FMA (1927-1955) Argentina's Fábrica Militar de Aviones 1927-1955, in English language, by Georg von Rauch & Hernán Longoni, La Plume du temps / Historical series, 2009, ISBN 2913788688
Published in English by a French publisher. It seems that the book was previously published in French, but this is unsure. It is said that the authors are preparing a new (third) edition. Hernán Longoni, one of the two authors, has an interesting website on aircraft in Argentina:
