As said in the title. Imagine: F-100 F-101 F-102 F-104 F-105 F-106 flying in formation. Did anybody ever made such photo ? Would have been awesome.

Not in flight, that I can quickly find. Just these four:

There is this one on the ground:

Missing 105 and 106.

I was wondering if my list of the "Century fighters" was right ?

F-100 Super Sabre,
F-101 Voodoo,
F-102 Delta Dagger,
F-103 Thunderwarrior,
F-104 Starfighter,
F-105 Thunderchief,
F-106 Delta Dart,
F-107 Ultra Sabre,
F-108 Rapier,
F-109 : ever officially allocated to any fighter project (F-101B or Bell F-109),
F-110 Spectre,
F-111 Aardvark,
...
F-117 Nighthawk.

And from F-112 to F-116, the designations are totally unknown ?

More like F-117 being completely bogus (just like F-35, but for different reasons). Some says the gaps were Red Hat Squadrons MiGs, which I find quite amusing (as in "hey look you commies, we renamed your fighters into our next Century series" )

  • The name "Thunderwarrior" for the AP-57 was pure invention by an aviation writer, it has no basis in any Republic document.
  • F-106 was initially used for the XF-84H "Thunderscreech", before being assigned to the former F-102B.
  • "Ultra Sabre" has been rumored for the NA-211/212 but never appears in any official document that I've seen, either.
  • F-109 was temporarily assigned three times: first to the F-101B, then to a Ryan VTOL derived from Model 115, and finally to the Bell D-188A tilt-jet.
  • Only the F-110A was the Spectre. F-110B to D were covert designations for evaluated MiG-21 series aircraft, while F-110E and above pertain to the secret HAVE PHOENIX program (allegedly also related to foreign aircraft).
  • F-112 series aircraft were allegedly Sukhoi Su-17/Su-22 types.
  • F-113 series aircraft were allegedly MiG-17 and MiG-23 types.
  • F-114 series aircraft were allegedly MiG-17 types.
  • F-115 may have been a Sukhoi Su-7.
  • F-116 may have been a MiG-25.
  • Only F-117A is the Nighthawk. F-117B and above are classified programs (for instance, YF-117D was the Northrop Tacit Blue prototype).
  • F-118 series aircraft are more secret aircraft programs, with YF-118G being the McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) Bird of Prey.
  • There doesn't seem to have been numbers after that, although a would-be "Lockheed F-121 Sentinel" was once rumored during the early 2000s.
Hope this helps!
