Vought created a proposal (V-522) using the Falcon 20E
mated with the AWG-9 weapon system and utilizing a
F-14 radome to create a low cost trainer for NFOs.

Attached are three images concerning the program:

Very interesting. Grumman also proposed a trainer, using the Gulfstream II as a basis. I had thought of this as perhaps an unsolicited proposal - a follow-on to the TC-4C (which used the Gulfstream I as an airborne trainer for A-6 B/Ns), but with Vought also issuing a proposal, it looks like there might have been an actual requirement floated by NAVAIR.

I'd suspect that this was was drawn up circa 1971 with the MCO (Missile Control Officer) nomenclature used in some areas. (The title was later changed to NFO - Naval Flight Officer.) I have no doubt that the emergent F-14 program cost overruns killed this project.

A little off-topic, but somehow related: similar variants of the Mystère 20 (the French name of the Falcon 20) operated by the CITAC 339 based at the Luxeuil Armée de l'air base. I once was fortunate enough to climb aboard the "Lampe d'Aladin," but unfortunately had no camera with me at that time!

I know this is a little bit off-topic but there were 2 more project that was done on Falcon 20E.

According to the website, http://www.atf3.org/
There was a Garrett Falcon F20C test bed that used the Garrett ATF3 engine WITH AN AFTERBURNER.
" I posted this picture on the ATF3 Online Museum only because the #2 “Right Pusher Engine” is an ATF3-6A SN #21 (3rd ATF3 development engine assembled in the Phoenix Development Assembly Shop by Mechanics Avery Gauger and Michael McCoy.

Engine #21 was later converted to a Certified ATF3-6A-3C configuration rated at 5440 LbFn @ 59°F OAT, to be used as a pusher engine for flight test.

I believe that the Garrett/AlliedSignal TFE1042 engine is the most powerful engine ever mounted on or flight tested on an AMD Dassault Falcon Jet F20 airframe. "

And Also There was a test done by France and Iraq during 1980s in Iran-Iraq War to test New missile (not quite sure which missile perhaps magic or Exocet AM30 that they added the Mirage F1 radome and its radarto test fire a missile
