Ok, that's what I wanted to know. Thanks!
Such values are always at the highest speed and highest altitude where you can launch the corresponding weapon. So I can hardly imagine that you can go any higher than the specifications of the weapon.Does anyone has an idea about the range of the Rb 04; I found 32 km in internet, however I remember to read somewhere that it could reach 55 km if launched from higher altitude from Viggen.
A person in the Swedish parlament Inga Thorsson put a stop to the Swedish Nuclear weapons program. My dad Rolf Ohlon was part of a SAAB development team working on an Inertia guidance system, end of 1950's. During his 1957 trip to the US he meet the infamous Swedish spy Stig Wennerström.NW were contemplated by Sweden as a deterrent to Soviet agression and as way to reduce defense expenditures, instead of a massive investment in conventionnal forces (System 37, to be Viggen). Which is why, paradoxically, the youth/left wing of the Social-democratic Party led by Olof Palme was in favour. Sweden never planned to launch first strikes with NW on the USSR. When the Kennedy administration initiated the policy that would produce the NPT, Sweden went for System 37 and other advanced conventional systems. Btw Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians were in the first place citizens of their countries under Soviet occupation; "Soviet citizens" against their own will.
Colour image, looks like a still from a video, of an Rb.05B on a Viggen. Apparently lost out to the AGM-65 that was adopted by Sweden as the Rb.75.Grainy image of TV-guided RB.05B from Jane's AWA,1975-76.
Length 3.64m, weight 330kg, EO seeker derived from technology of SAAB TST-300 TV tracking system.
Some eye candy of the signalling kind posted by SAAB. RBS15 evolving with the times.

They were normally stored in hangar inside ship's superstructure, and moved to launch rails when ship prepared to engagement. The Rb.08 launch rails were of open type, and storing missiles on them was impractical due to weather effects.Oh I didn't know Rb.08 was reloadable
