B)
This design would have been or would be great single engine version of T-50 / Pak Fa.
On first site, it reminds me very much of the "МиГ-ХХ".
Paralay has some info and pictures about the "МиГ-ХХ" on his website.
Link: http://www.paralay.com/pakfamig.html
Btw, is there a thread and does anyone have more info about the "МиГ-ХХ"?

MiG-XX at Paralay's site is someone's graduate project

watched by side reminds me Mig 29 , with one jet engine ok, and i suppose with Stealth tecnology !

Can i ask, is this the E-721 design mentioned in the PAK-FA article in VZLET ? Or that is a different design altogether?

Thanks.

If you will read it once more, you will notice, that E-721 was Mikoyan design, while topic named 'Sukhoi LFS/LFMS design ca.2002'

A lovely design, Flateric.

It looks like my fantasy vision of a stealthy F-16 - perhaps lower risk (both technically & tactically) for the USAF than the F-35A.

Please give us more details if have them.

Cheers, Woody

This is one of the most conservative designs of future Russian fighters I have ever seen.

Stealthy F-16 indeed, but nowhere near F-35.

Note the double actuators for the flaps as well as the F-16 type of speedbrakes/spoilers between the engine and the fins on top and the bottom of the aircraft.

Is it just me or the weapon bay way too short for any existing russian missile?

Wait? S-21? Don't aircraft with delta-type wings get a T designation (like T-50)?

It does look pretty cool, although I would be concerned about the RCS of the inlet (leading edges are not swept).

Oh yes , i'm sorry about that, i got it wrong... :-[

No comments. More stuff to come.

Is the Sukhoi project name LFMS for Liogkiy Frontovoi Mnogofunktsionalniy Samolyot or LMFS for Liogkiy Mnogofunktsionalniy Frontovoi Samolyot?

Russians have three favorite phrases:

1: Tomorrow
2: Maybe
3: Maybe tomorrow. :)

Sounds a lot like Israelis.

They have another favorite phrase - Beedyuk which means exact. That is anywhere from 1 hour early to two days later.

are we there yet ?
a yak-41, f-16, 1.42 f-35 and MiG-29 in one my dream :'(

what-if
like, as I'm thinking now, the drawing that has started this topic...
at least Valery Pogodin was in charge of advanced configurations at Myasishchev
but looking at these weapon bays...

thanks to Andy_UA for taking my pics from Paralay forum and posting everywhere without mentioning the original source

just forgot
render was taken from Sukhoi presentation so it's authentic

Also from a Sukhoi presentation?
