Maybe this can help with the size issue. I've drawn all 3 (Spruance, Kidd and Ticonderoga) for a boardgame company and not yet created the side views for them.

Not yet drawn them and apparently they are errenous on the superstructure position. Not that we cannot be sure without the official plans if there were no deviations.
