When I commented in Post #1302 that the covers of Peter Elson's art for the Sphere Books release for some of the novels by author A. Bertram Chandler in the 1980s had not been preserved on the artists memorial website I was wrong. Here are the four covers without titling that survive.

I found a blog posting discussing what happened with those series, seems the Smith estate was not entirely happy with what the Japanese did, seems they mixed 'Star Wars' into Smiths setting.

Heres an interesting one,its not the war of the worlds,its john cristophers The Tripods.
These are the covers to the first 2 book in the series,The White Mountains & The City of Gold & Lead,by Tim Hildebrand.
Its got a war of the worlds meets middle earth feel to it.

For what it's worth the idea of hauling an iceberg south to provide water for drought stricken areas was a popular concept during the mid to late 1970s.

Two album covers for the Austrian based Mayflower Orchestra, an 'Easy Listening' music big band that operated in the early 1980s, their final albums 'Sounds & Styles' and 'Supernova' were released in 1985, the cover for 'Sounds & Styles' recycles Chris Moore's art for T. W. Hard's novel 'SUM VII' (1979). I believe the cover for 'Supernova' is also a Chris Moore artwork but I'm not sure which cover was recycled.

I want that ship for a game miniature. And, yeah, even the attacking one too.
Being flat panels with straight edges hull should be easy to scratchbuild or CAD for 3D printing.
Antenna can be represented with screen mesh and wire frames.
Ships would look right at home in the TTA universe, which used other Colin Hay art.
