Dear Boys and Girls, here is an article in French about the Barbaro RB.70 designed by René Barbaro. I don't think this is a "project" as I believe the designer was sadly killed when this aircraft crashed during flight-testing......

The article comes from the 15th August 1967 isue of Aviation Magazine International......

Thank toura and walter...

walter, any technical data?

Thanks Maveric

Excuse me, I'm wrong. I've change my adress . Try again
SORRY

Dear Maveric,
sorry I have no technical details (but a lot of questions, like you).
The RB-50 (F-PLUD) was powered by a 90hp Continental C90 engine. The same aircraft later (May 1969) became the RB-51 (different engine and/or modifications??). I have no idea why the designation changed.
I understand from the site which toura was so kind to provide, that the wings and engine of the RB-30 were used in the RB-50. This could imply that the RB-30 had a Continental C90, but I always thought that the engine in the RB-30 was a Continental A65. Could it be that the RB-50 initially also had an A65 engine?
According to Fox Papa the RB-30 was destroyed (détruit) in 1949. I presume the aircraft was dismantled and not destroyed in an accident. Did it ever actually fly?
Sorry for not giving answers but asking new questions.

Hi,

the RB.10 was a single seat tourist mid-wing monoplane of 1934,powered by one Harley Davidson
engine.

The RB.20 was a high-wing monoplane Project of 1942,without tail fin,and the motor was Anzani as I think.

The RB.40 was a two-seat light monoplane,maybe based on RB.30.

An Info about RB.51;

According to Gaillard, the RB-50 flew for the first time on 9 October 1960, though Chillon suggests 9 October 1963.
It was registered on 30 July 1964 to the Toulouse Aero Club.Little is known about the modifications that were made that led to a new type number, RB-51. Gaillard suggests this happened in 1963 but the record gives the name
change date as May 1969.The Certificate of Airworthiness was suspended on 30 March 1970, then removed, and the aircraft's record marked destroyed.
