Perhaps he could swap them for the fabled Saturn V blueprints...

would it that be up to Northrop Grumman

Were it actually true it would be up to the US Government. Northrop would have no say.

It does beg the question why there seems to be apparent hostility between the United States and the People's Republic of China militarily and politically? Yet, the PRC has bought trillions in United States government debt and the United States has a huge trade deficit with the PRC.

Basically: schoolyard rules.
The PRC wants to be recognized as equal to the sole remaining superpower on this planet. Therefore, just like in primary school, calling each other harsh names will establish a certain status quo... Yet when no one is watching those big boys do share their milk.

Also, mainland China is (still) a dictatorship, who helps even worse dictatorships like Burma and North Korea.

Delete this post if it's offensive, but please don't lock the thread.

War, or even really significant tension, between the US and China would do significant damage to both our economies, and wouldn't help anyone else's either.

The better analogy might be to Brokeback Mountain...

"I sure do wish I could quit you..."

It's from 2009, there is no "Boston reviewer", the sale could not be pricey enough to make a dent into U.S. debt to China and the supposed author died two years before he supposedly wrote the piece.

So... You're saying there is the slightest possible chance that in could, in fact, NOT be true? Or is that a definate maybe after all?
