Some info from 1965/1966 N.A. documents for possible upgrades to the Hun. Also a cutaway of the F-100A Interceptor from 1956 which I think I've previously posted somewhere on this site before but just thought I'd drop another copy here.

Purely academically, I am curious why NAA would choose the J79-17 vs J57-420 which had a higher thrust over the J79 albeit with much greater weight...
