Model of Myasishchev M-90 Variant 1 from USSR-Russian Aviation & Space Collectibles (Alex Panchenko).

Myasishchev Design Bureau.One of two variants to carry out space shuttle Maks with fuel tank for 'Air Strat` from this aircraft. Original model is a piece of jewelry by itself- providing highest level of quality and details.On tail of aircraft can be noticed emblem of Experimental factory of Myasishchev. Works on project started in 1990 at this factory by order of Chief-Designer V.Novikov. Basic performance characteristics included maximum take off weight-700 tones (more than existing world`s heaviest AN-225), with about the same as An-225 carried payload (in special container between two fuselages), cruising speed-700 km/hour; flight range up to 5000 km. Wing span of this giant aircraft-96 meters. Model can be displayed on own wheels or on stand. See description of M-90 Variant-2 with Maks shuttle on the top, where one of [4] images provides details of wheels under fuselage. There are 128 wheels on this plane!

Description:
M-90 project of Myasishchev Design Bureau along with TSAGI (Central Aerodynamic and Hydrodynamics Institute) of superheavy payload transporter with attachable giant container wich is able to move on the ground to aircraft and from aircraft, to carry out in container not standart large size and weight cargoes including equipment for electric stations (reactors, generators) and heavy and large equipment for oil industry. This large exclusive model is extremely detailed.

In 7th volume of "Illustrated Encyclopedia of MDB aircraft" are detailed descriptions of M-12, M-90 etc.
