The program has however been badly delayed, leading to the procurement of 5 more K130 corvettes as a stopgap (despite their designation, basically oversized FACs):

Seems as though they're on course for the Australian model, or something close to it, if all 3 major builders end up together.

Hi all!

Looking at newly released renderings from the Damen Group, my original drawing was off in virtually all proportions. Moved things around a bit, deleted bow sonar and torpedoes (apparently dropped from requirements; they seem to like the F125 so much they want to repeat it...)

German Navy’s MKS 180 Frigate Program Renamed F126 - Naval News

The German ministry of defense (MoD) announced this morning that the MKS180 frigate program has been renamed "Fregatte Klasse 126" or F126, which is in line with the German Navy (Deutsche Marine) typical designation for frigates.

"Displacement: Maximum"?!? I'd guess they're trying to say Deep/Full Load, but you'd sort of hope Naval News would use standard terminology.
