Morane Saulnier three engined cantilever monoplane of 1921

It looks a bit like inspired by the Junkers R.I . But it seems to be a design by Raymond
Saulnier only, without participation by Léon und Robert Morane.
The aircraft of Morane Saulnier, with some exceptions, weren't renowned for their
futuristic design ! ;D
But many thanks for this one, I didn't know, that R.Saulnier "went solo" after teaming
with the Morane brothers.

Hi,

From my dear Tophe,and the source is "Le Trait d'Union" magazine,
issue #255 Jan/Feb.2011;

the aircraft was called Morane-Saulnier Type AX or MS.41 and it
was powered by three 370 hp Lorraine 12 Da engines,and had
an estimated speed of 200 km/h.

The Type AW or MS.40 was a cabin two-seat light aircraft powered
by one 180hp Hispano-Suiza 8 Ab engine,only one aircraft was
built.

Yes, the span was 27m, the official order was dated 1922, but building was never completed.
