Hi
The M-S factory designed and build only one (?) prototype of the MS.430, a two-seat trainer.
I found that the design was based on the MS-405 and used a lots of component of that aeroplane.
Who can give me more information/details of this aeroplane?
Also pictures/drawings/colors/etc.
Regards,
Jan

Thanks, good information.
I think that the first drawing you send me was from the MS-435.
This one had a bigger fuselage and a changed fin
Thanks again
Jan

Hi Jan

In 1936 the "Salon de l'aeronautique" was not at Le Bourget
but at "Le Grand Palais" in Paris.
Sorry

Concerning pre war Morane-Saulnier Trainers.
I found the enclosed drawing concerning a project 431.
Who can tell me more about this project and maybe a better complete drawing?

This side view comes from "Morane Saulnier-Ses Avions, Ses, Projets" by Henri Lacaze and is the only drawing of this
project there. The description says "... several variants <of the MS 430> were proposed, e.g. with inline-engines (probably
Renault 12R, maybe Salmson 12V ? Régnier ? Béarn ?),..."
Judging the drawing, it's just the 430 with an elongated aft fuselage to balance the longer engine.

Thanks Jemiba
During that time factorys offered a project with several engines, and when you see the fin/rudder its the same as the 430 in its earley period.
Concerning the engines, the 430 was 390 hp, 433 450 hp and 435 550 hp.
You mention the Renault 12R but this one was to heavy about 500 hp.
I think that the inline engine which was planned had a hp around the 390.
Do you any information materials concerning these types of France engines?
What do you know about the projects 432 and 434, I think that these where also trainers based on the 430.

The MS.432 is mentioned by Henri Lacaze as maybe (!) a version with a Lorraine Algol engine, the MS.434
avec the G&R 14M, as Patvig said, from 1938
