Just thought I'd share the photos I took of the Me262 at RIAT 2023 this Sunday. I know it's a recreation but I was still thrilled to see it. My father must be one of the few survivors who saw the Me262 fly during WW2

Assuming J85 engines, it's very overpowered. Originals only had a pair of ~2000lbt engines, while the repros have anywhere from 2400-3100lbt.

But otherwise, yes, they're sufficiently well done that Messerschmidt gave them continuing werknumbers from the originals.

Hi Oliver,

I'm not qualified to comment but it looked just right.

They look just the real thing in most aspects, but somehow the single-seater canopy looks has slightly weird lines in my opinion. But I'm not a modeller who could nail it down precisely ... maybe it's just me imagining things.
