McDonnell V/STOL Aircraft with Vented Nozzle Concept

I removed your erroneous reference to the model number. Indeed, the Model 1109 described in the report is not the aircraft, but the fan!

The experimental apparatus utilized in this test program consisted of an inlet bellmouth and a Tech Development Inc. Model 1109, 30.5 cm. (12 in.) diameter tip-turbine fan mated with a MCAIR designed exhaust system.

The outer duct connected the Model 1109 fan with the "D" vented nozzle and simulated the fan duct of a turbofan engine.

You must be more careful before jumping to conclusions about things like that, especially when the report's language is not your mother tongue.

OK,

and at least I discovered, the McDonnell Douglas Model 1109.
