Around McDonnell Douglas proposed a STOL transport with an air cushion instead of a conventional landing gear. Any design or model number?

It looks similar to a concept which emerged after the cooperation with Breguet, in
an attempt to sell a type based on the Br.941. During the cooperation there were
only turbo prop driven designs, but after it MDD came up with pure jet designs.
But still yet I can't find the pictures ... ::)

My dears,

I think Jemiba is wright because it look like the McDD Model-210
which developed from Bregeut Br.941 aircraft.for the first time
I think it was McDD Model-220,which developed from Model-119
but it was not.

In addition, here is an artist's impression of the MD-210G.

Hi Boxkite!

Here is a picture (hopefully big enough to see), of the McDonnell 188, another turboprop STOL transort design.

I found it very very similar to the Breguet BR.941, wich was marketed in the US, maybe by MDD?

Be the oil prices be with you

The McDonnel 188 was in fact the Br.941, the starting point for a number of
collaborative projects in the field of STOL passenger a/c. Unfortunately without
success ..

The end of McDonnel-Douglas' flirtation with STOL airliners was a stretched, CFM-56 engined YC-15 derivative.
