Does anybody know something on a project of a turboprop aircraft with circular wing by Kissinger-Crookes (USA)? It was mentioned in JAWA 1960-61 on page 333, but I don’t know the silhouette of this machine - do you?

Hi Boskite!

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but maybe we're on the right track.

This is a disc-shaped aircraft patented by one Curtis D. Kissinger, with the patent date of 7-18-75. The Patent Number is:
# 3,871,602

I found this information on a website called rexresearch.com, under the category U.S. Patents: Disc Aircraft. This website page can be reached at:

http://www.rexresearch.com/wingless/wingless.htm

I've also posted the original patent line drawing (top-view only), and I hope it gets through. I hope this at least gets you on the trail!!!

Hi Boxkite!

Sorry for the typo in my previous posting! I meant to type Boxkite---not boskite! (As a long-time kitemaker thats one word I shouldn't slip-up on!)
