Hello,
In the 1970s and 1980s, the idea of a battlefield supports aircraft or SABA became ever more popular. These aircraft were mainly designed shoot down low-flying enemy aircraft and helicopters, however, reconnaissance and ground-attack were possible. Among traditional weapons such as guns and missiles, there was a certain type of weapon called the "hypervelocity missile". From what I understand, these missiles could pull high gs and high speed manoeuvres.
Does anyone have any further information about these missiles?
Thanks in advance,
Wyvern
