Hi,
I've just been looking at the patent for the Hall SLR; -
http://worldwide.espacenet.com/publicationDetails/originalDocument?CC=GB&NR=589394A&KC=A&FT=D&ND=3&date=19470619&DB
It appears, to my untutored mind, to offer ambidextrous handling and would have been a better option than the EM2 for the British army. Does anyone know if metal was actually cut on this weapon and if so was it ever tested by the military, British or otherwise?
