All,

Does anyone have information on the Grumman G-24? This was to be an advanced trainer based on the F3F wing. Similarly, the G-37 was to be an export variant of the F3F.

Does anyone have specifications or three views of these?

I don’t know about Grumman G24, but Canadian Car and Foundry built 52 Grumman G23, biplane fighters for export during the 1930s.
Mexico, Nicaragua and Japan each got single examples.
Forged documents made it look like 34 of CCF G23 Dolphin/Delfins were destined for Turkey. In truth, most went to the Spanish Republican Air Force in 1937. The Spanish Republic was a presidential democracy that included libertarians, socialists, communists, anarchists, peasants, etc. who fought against General Franco (royalty, large land-holders, Catholic Church, etc). Only 15 Delphine survived the Spanish Civil War and served briefly in Dictator Franco’s Air Force.
At the start of WW2, the RCAF grudgingly acquired the last 15 Goblins. When they patrolled from Halifax, they were the only Canadian fighter planes protecting the East Coast!
Fortunately, CCF built Hawker Hurricanes soon replaced Goblins.

FAKE
Unfortunately, the text on Russian about Baby Goose, and illustrations from it - are complete fake or "what-if".
It tells the story about "what-if" service and production in Georgia, which hasn't been independent state in 1930s, but a republic inside USSR. :-\ :-\ :-\

Riggerbob,

The G-23 was a variation of the FF-1 two seat fighter

I am writing a Ginter book on the F2F/F3F and want to capture all of the design variations that were never built...which are the G-24 and G-37
