There must be German, Italian and French equivalents to the British Royal Aeronautical Society Library.

Could anyone tell me what they might be called and where they are located?

In Italy, nothing of that type. Guidonia was destroyed in 1943. There are a lot of interesting libraries from an aeronautical point of view around the country (for example in the Polytechnics of Milan and Turin) but nothing like the one in London (or in Washington). The Ufficio Storico of AMI in Rome has a small library, but nothing of really astounding.

The German equivalent of RAeSL is the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Luft- und Raumfahrt, which was founded in 1912 and is based in Bonn. The RAeSL's French equivalent is the
Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France, which is located in Paris.
