Hi,
Mr. Georges Levy was a French,and he opened a Societe des Hydravions Georges Levy in 1914,he hired Mr. Marcel Besson as a designer in 1915,a series from LB.1 to LB.6 were built as a military and combat triplanes,except LB.5, and in 1917 by Mr. Blancahrd and Le Pen they created the GL.40,maybe Le Pen had old series L.10,L.20 & L.30,but I don't know if they were under Levy name or not,it was a sesquiplane recce and bomber patrol flying boat powered by one 300 hp Renault Fe engine,and had a three-seat in HB.2 category.
The HB.2 was a developed from LB.1,but powered by one 250 hp Hispano-Suiza engine in 1919,Farman built under licence the GL Type-R,it was a developed version with one 450 hp Renualt engine in 1920,the HB.2/II was a civil version of 1920,powered by one 300 hp Renault engine,also with Farman built his design,it was a three-seat un-equal span patrol flying boat biplane of 1922,powered by three Panhard engines,mounted as two tractor and one pusher,Type-1,and the Type-2 had the same dimensions and was a triplane patrol flying boat, built by Farman too,but no more details are known,and probably in 1922/23.
With Jean Biche designer,and in 1926,the Levy-Biche LB-1 was two-seat recce shipboard aircraft,powered by one 550 hp Renault 12 Kl engine,followed by LB-2,it was a single seat sesquiplane fighter,intended to use from aircraft carrier,and a 20 airplanes built by Levasseur,the LB-4 was a two-seat observation twin-float
biplane of 1927,powered by one 420 hp Gnome-Rhone 9Ady Jupiter radial engine,the LB-6 was a two-seat recce catapult float biplane of 1922/28,powered by either 230 hp Gnome-Rhone 5 Be or 230 hp Salmson 9 Ab engine,the LB-3 & LB-5 were just a speculation designs ?.
