This appears to be a very old model of the FW-159 and given its size and details I'm wondering if its from Focke Wulf.

I know some of the posters here collect manufactures/engineering models and maybe they could shed some light on this. A pre-war german model like this would be very rare, no?

Registration D-IUPY was allocated to Focke Wulf Fw-159 V-1 in real life, which also had landing gear issues!

It may be a model from an exhibition in Brussels from 1937.

Information from - Przegląd Lotniczy Nr. 9 (09-1937) (168 pages)

Page 84 (1252) short note in original Polish - " Oprócz samolotów naturalnej wielkości znalazło się na wystawie szereg modeli następujących typów niemieckich: (...) - model jednomiejscowego samolotu myśliwskiego Focke Wulf F W 159. Górnopłat o chowanym podwoziu. Szybkość największa 410 km/godz. "

If it's the same model, interesting is how it survived ?
