No problem ! Fairey proposed a number of similar designs for carrier borne strike aircraft,
with the pilot seated in front of the engine to improve visibility.
Projects with the pilot seated as far in front of the aircraft as possible were in vogue
in several countries during the late war and early after war years, in Italy and Germany,
too, just remember the Savoia S.M.93 or Messerschmitt Me 509.
In the mentioned BSP volume this model is shown as the Fairey contender to S.28/43 for
a strike fighter, winning contender was the Blackburn B.48 Firecrest.
Main external difference was the contra prop, driven by a tandem RR Merlins, whereas the
th eN.7/43 design should be powered by a RR Griffon driving a single prop.
