I remember once hearing about a video in which an F8U (I'm not sure if it was an F8U-1, or an F8U-2, or a post 1962 designation) keeping up with a 16-inch shell launched from a Battleship.

My questions basically are
1.) Has anyone seen this video or know anything about this video?
2.) Was the F8U racing the shell at altitude? (Either level or in a shallow arc)
3.) Was the F8U racing the shell from when the shell was launched and following it all the way up to altitude (possibly all the way to the ground)?
4.) Was the F8U racing the shell from altitude to low altitude?
