While going throu a fs2002 aircraft download site, i found a interesting model of a brazillian light weight fighter/strike aircraft, which the website called the EMBRAER TX - OP.
http://www.jrlucariny.com/JRLCOMEmbTXOP.htm

I've searched the internet, and haven't been able to find a EMBRAER project that matches this aircraft, so i want to know is this fs model based on a real aircraft project, or is it made up. If there is some substance to this model, does anyone have information, deminsions, models, drawings, three-veiws of this EMBRAER project.

Isn't this the AMX?

i don't think so, it doesn't look like a amx, and it says the aircraft was capable of mach 2

Seems pretty clear its a supersonic development of AMX, probably with afterburning Spey, and modified intakes.

That isn't a real design, it's just his own design that he based off of the AMX. He has a whole series of "Made up" planes that he modeled.

Folks,

Weren't they suppose to develop a carrier version of the AMX for the Brazilian Navy?

As a Brazilian reporter with 34 years acting as a defence specialist I can answer you. The TX-OP was a LIFT project conceived in 1986. It's performance was to be around Mach 1.2. A Fighter version, with stronger engines, could get Mach 1.6. In 1978 Embraer worked in a attack plane, the A-X, at the same AMX class. Brazilian Air Force preferred to get a participation at the Italian project. NO AMX carrier version was projected.

I'll try to find a copy from my HDD as soon as possible

Some CGI artwork of the design can be found at:

I can't post pictures yet so i hope it helps.

Found this pic on another flightsim website, as the other links on here seem to come up on suspicious sites.
