Just found, maybe it's of interest :A model of a study made by the Egyptian General
Aero Organization /EGAO) and Messerschmitt for a 3-engined feederliner, designated
project 206.
I think, someone asked for such a project a long time ago ... (Hello Boxkite ?)
(from AW, june 1968)

Der Flieger 7/1968 (page 257) describes it simply as "362" - take three of your digits and shake them ...

Anything in FLIGHT archive?

.. or we take the "3" from the engines designation, which is E-300-C. :D
Shown is the nine stage compressor and two stage turbine. The fact remains,
that we don't even know the correct designation !

Dear Hesham, here is another picture of this Egyptian tri-jet airliner design called 262; as displayed at the Turin Salon in June 1968. Is it powered by the E-300 C engine also displayed? Is it a Helwan design?

The pictures come from the 1st July 1968 issue of Aviation Magazine International......

Bonjour

In fact ,it is the Me P260 (1968) ,an evolution of the Me P160 (1963)
Was a project of the Egyptian EGAO and Messerschmitt (variously named " 362 " or P206 or " 262 " in the press ;D)
Cheers

Richard

Thank you Richard, so it's really a German design; interesting......
