Early desktop models of American helicopters

Can you identify them all? There are a couple that I'm not quite sure about myself... Amazing display, anyway!

Actually ... have. But only the Sikorsky R-5 on the right -- I still want the others, especially the HSL.
Pretty amazing detail, with all-metal parts (see attached). They just don't make them like that anymore

3.) Piasecki PV-3 / HRP-1 "Rescuer"
4.) Bell Model 48 (YH-12B version with wider cabin)
5.) Sikorsky R-4
6.) Bell Model 61 / HSL
7.) Platt-LePage XR-1 (I think)
8.) Piasecki PV-14 / HUP "Retriever"
9.) Hiller UH-12A "Raven"
10.) Bell Model 54 / XH-15
11.) Sikorsky H-5

Great Stingray, thanks. The ones I had trouble with were the Sikorsky S-53 and the Bell XR-15, and I think you are right on both counts.

However, the one in the middle is not the Platt-LePage XR-1 but rather its offspring, the McDonnell Model 37 Whirlaway or XHJD-1.

Number 7 is the McDonnell Whirlaway, and looks to based on an early concept of the XHJD-1. (From the era of "discus" fairings over the rotor heads)

Les Morris put out a booklet called "The Helicopter Guide" which was offered in the ancient Helicopters For Industry plastic kits, that used one of the above photos as it's cover.

No, I don't have the book unfortunately...
