In the linked thread on the Rise of Flight forum, there is some info on the engine (beginning from 7th post down, in a (slightly unclear) comparison between engines used on the Breguet 14:

I think the Colonial Flying Boat itself was a early to mid 1920's programme using surplus engines. However I have no hard data, so buyer beware applies!

Hope that helps a bit.

Hi,

I searched for this airplane,but I couldn't find it,instead off open new topic for take
about René Moineau,and his activities of aviation.

In 1909 he built some biplane gliders,after that he joined Breguet and designed a little
numbers of aircraft,followed by Salmson-Moineau S.M.1 & S.M.2,a well know recce/
bomber airplanes.

During WW1 also,he created the Moineau C.1, a single seat monoplane fighter,powered
by one 300 hp Hispano-Suiza engine,then he invented a two-seat pusher aeroplane for
military use,but no more details are known.

Hi. In l'Aeronautique № 7 1923 p. 273 the avionnette "Dits-Moineau X" is mentioned.
She was announced for the Grand Prix du "Petit Parisien", but failed to participate.

It's flying wing. May be it never was finished.

Don't you know any details about this small plane? Or may be photo?

Lwing = 8,5 m, L = 6,5 m, Swing = 14 m2, Mempty = 140 kg, Sergant engine

Thank you in advance
