Was just sorting photos from soem "library raids", when I came across this one:
The Lackner Aerocycle, but somewhat different to the already shown versions,
fitted with a tail. Not sure, if there is a tail rotor ?
(from the French "Aviation Magazine", January 1960)

It might sound odd, but could it be a stabilator? That there is probably a pitch control pushrod attached to... the pilot's belt. It obviously could not work in hover, so I have no idea what was its intended function.
