There is almost no hardware evolution let alone revolution being displayed at Advanced Warfare Experiments (AWEs) A quadrotor lifting a 50lb box. The local RC shop could build this so called UK super innovation for logistics.. r u sssh-ing me.. These drones on Strykers is half a joke which would last less than 10mins.
The AWEs are on the contractors dime and they rightly are not risking much for such dysfunctional aquisition sys.
These Futures people are so FoS. Until the there is real RD&TE money spent, selected winners, yes bias toward concepts which makes sense not trash over the transom from the government capturing majors who also risk nothing then 0 innovation which is where we are now for ground forces.. Troops on the ground, as usual, forgotten.
