Colt CMG-2 LMG

I would appreciate any documentation on the xm235 as it is a interesting design.
If you go to smallarmsreview.com and type xm235 into search they have quite a bit including manuals on the xm235 in their archives.

There's kinda too much for me to post here.

In his videos on the Colt CMG-2 and CMG-3, Ian McCollum of Forgotten Weapons described their bipods as an M14 type bipod:

In an interview with Small Arms Review (October 2009) as shared on Reddit, Don Walsh explained when the Stoner 63 was reworked into the Stoner 93 and offered to the Royal Thai Armed Forces during the early 1990s, it used an M14 type bipod instead of the original Stoner bipod:

Does this mean the Stoner 63 / 93 could have used the same bipod as the CMG-2 / -3?
